Welcome to markmakingmusic.com! I am an accomplished guitarist and bassist, specializing in jazz, classical, rock, and electronic music. I play six-string classical and electric guitars as well as an eight-string Novax guitar. In addition to performing music, I also compose music and create sound design for films.

Symmetry just booked some studio time at Zippah Recording Studio in Boston! We are all really excited to be recording our first full length band album. Andy and Slap wrote most of the backbone material, but the rest of us finished each idea so it really breathes a lot of life into the material. So definitely keep your eyes (and mostly ears) on us because we will be making a huge splash soon!

My new group Miss Wensday and the New Medicinals is making a huge splash on the Providence scene. We have a very talented group of musicians which I am very excited about. Wensday Greenbomb on the vocals, Marco Leclerc on keyboards, and Alex Chapman on drums...including yours truly on the Novax 8 string. We are playing some very eclectic music, ranging from tango to sea shanty to trip hop! Bet you've never seen THAT before now have you??! We will be recording an EP soon and we want to see you at the next performance. Speaking of performances, our shows are as much eye candy as they are ear candy...we try to spice things up by bringing you an interactive spectacle that is full of comedy, music, cabaret and other unexpected excitement. Come check us out on January 15 at The 201 and on February 11 at I HEART PROVIDENCE in City Hall!!!

This Friday I will be performing with Kim Trusty. Unfortunately, the gig is a private event, so you're not invited! DOH! However, on Saturday I will be playing with Split Infinity at the Cabby Shack in Plymouth, MA. Come on down for some great seafood and some great 80's music! Then on Sunday, I will be performing with Symmetry at the Rail Jam at UConn. I'll keep ya' posted when I get some more details on that one!

Also, I wanted to mention that me and the rest of the Kim Trusty Band listened to the mixed version of the new album coming out. All I gotta say is WOW! I am really amazed at how the album sounds, and I can't wait to share it with the rest of you guys and gals in a month or so. Thanks to all the musicians that contributed to the final product and special thanks to Brian from 'Zippah!' Recording Studio.

On Sunday I'll be rocking some classical music with Tom Casale and Alex Chapman at Tom's graduate recital held at Rhode Island College. There are some exciting new things coming up for me. Number one is a new found momentum for my original hip-hop group "Symmetry." We have some exciting gigs coming up (listed on the right) and some great new energy! Our first priority is writing an EP as a group, so stay tuned in the next coming months!

Also, the new Kim Trusty album is finished! We are going to have a listening party at the studio in which it was recorded this month. November 22 will be the official CD Release Party at the Hi Hat in Providence, RI!!!!! Stay tuned.
